Day 7

Today was Fast Sunday so I did not eat anything until about 5:00 pm

Dinner
Black bean chili
Black beans
Chopped onions
Chopped garlic
Chopped bell peppers
1/2 packet chili seasoning
1 qt stewed tomatoes (blended)
1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped
Lettuce salad - same as other days

I don't mind fasting anymore. Haven't minded it for years. I feel even better about it since I learned how much good it is for our physical bodies. Some studies even say that for optimal health we should fast once every week. I will stick with the once a month thank you.

I really enjoy Sundays. It is a day to be renewed Spiritually, step away from daily and worldly activities, and plan out the week ahead. I got a few letters written today that I haven't been able to write these past 6 weeks. That felt really good.
