Breakfast stayed with me a lot longer today than yesterday. I guess I will be eating eggs most every morning as I don't know what else to have for breakfast.
I do prefer to eat a nice salad over crudites (raw veggies). There is something about green leafy vegetables that have a powerful effect on my body and I feel health and vitality from eating it.
I find that at night around 9:00 I want to eat something, but not necessarily hungry. I think this comes from a long habit of snacking around that time. I have read over and over again, that it is best to not eat after 6:00 or 7:00 pm so our digestive system has a chance to rest. As we are constantly eating throughout the day it never gets a rest and really needs one. About 10-12 hours is optimal. It is good for the body to go to bed a little hungry, this is part of the process. I know, I know, it is a hard thing to do because we are so used to putting things in our mouth, often without even thinking about it when we feel the slightest bit hungry. Many people put food (mostly junk) in their mouth not because they are hungry, but because the body is craving it, like a smoker craves a cigarette.
I want to admit that I have included a lot of prayer in this process. I know that I am human and prone to much weakness, so I need all the power from Heaven I can get. I am so thankful for it.
